Creating Coffee Cream in Photoshop

Hello fans! I finally got around to make another tutorial.
In this tutorial we are going to look at how to make a nice coffee cream swirl.

1. Firstly, you want to open your cup of coffee image in photoshop. You can find an image anywhere; Google images or Bing. Once you have imported your image, using the Elliptical Marquee Tool, make a selection of your coffee and, on a new layer, fill with the following Linear gradient: #000000 - #442403.

2. Now to make the cream swirls. Create a new layer and, using a large soft brush, paint some white spots.

3. Now to make the swirls. copy, in turn, each of the following filter steps.

Filter>Distort>Twirl

Filter>Distort>ZigZag

Filter>Distort>Wave

Filter>Distort>Twirl

Once you have completed the above steps, your cup of coffee should look something like this.

4. Now press CMD+T (Edit>Transform) and scale your twirl to fit nicely, and, using a soft eraser at 30px, erase any bits which are a bit off.

5. Now set the Layer Blending Mode to Overlay

6. Finally, Copy the layer (CMD+J) and drop the opacity to 50% and you're done!

Asking questions are truly good thing if you are not understanding anything totally, except this paragraph gives nice understanding even.
