Storyboard

 Before any movie can be shot, a storyboard will be drawn up. The storyboard will be a sheet or sheets of paper on which will be draw small sketches of major scene changes.
The storyboard will also include what type of shot this scene will be; Close-up, Wide-shot or Mid-shot etc...
The image above show a storyboard from the Simpsons. It shows when the camera will be changeing and, if you click on the image, it shows what type of shot it is going to be. There is small annontation stating what major point the director needs to know.
The storyboard will be held by the director and the main cameraman.
